Because of Frank and his team I now have a sofa in my sitting room, which is something I was starting to think would never happen. I contacted sofa assist after having difficulty figuring out how to get my 8ft sofa up to the second floor of my town house, which included a winding set of corner stairs. Impossible for me and my girlfriend to handle and something which required a professional. Frank was quick to reply and asked me to photograph the windows and provide details of the sofa itself. After confirming all the information he was able to turn up early the next day with a colleague. As I was at work, my girlfriend was left at home to supervise. She later told me she was made to feel completely at ease and safe with Frank and his colleague. Frank tried numerous times to get the sofa up the stairs, each time wrapping the thing in protective material to prevent damage. Unfortunately, the sofa just wouldn't move, so Frank laid out our options as being either to call a glazier to remove the window or that they could dismantle the sofa. Frank assured us that the sofa would be returned to its original condition once it was in the living room. I opted for the second choice and he began the long meticulous process of dismantling the sofa. Six hours later, the sofa was pristinely recreated in my living room. In fact, Frank and strengthened it in the process! The hard work that must have gone in to the job is incredible, all in 27 degrees of heat and with a fiddly and detailed piece of furniture to work with. I am truly amazed at the job they have done and can't quite believe they managed it in a day. I'm sure an upholsterer would have taken a lot longer and would have done a worse job.
