1st December 2010 - We had 2 large sofas delivered and the delivery men could not get them into our lounge. Their advice was to 'exchange it for a nice little corner suite'. I had spent months looking for the right sofa and was determined to get them in. After a local glazier came round and was reluctant to take out the wooden window in our Grade 2 listed cottage, I felt desperate and a little upset. So I googled 'sofa too big to go through door' and up popped 'Sofa Assist'. Too good to be true was my first thought and as we were way out of the regions that they cover I called them to ask if they could recommend anybody else. Frank was wonderful and offered to come all the way to Worcestershire for us, he was here all day and basically dismantled these two huge sofas and then put them back together again. He asked me which side I thought he had redone and I honestly got the wrong one. Frank had in fact done a much tidier job of upholstering than the manufacturers had. They are now in their rightful place and look just as they did when the packaging came off. I can't recommend this company enough and if you are like me and feel sick at the thought of somebody dismantling your brand new sofa, then don't worry because Frank is a perfectionist and won't leave until they are just right again. They are also really reasonably priced. Cheers Frank, we really do appreciate the effort you made for us.
